The Real-time Monitoring System that automatically collects, analyzes, and reports network data in real time.

With RMS, black boxes are still key to monitoring network performance, but beyond the box is a system designed to solve problems before they affect a significant number of subscribers. The system reduces the cycle time needed to identify and fix network problems, and also improves engineering productivity.

Real-time Collection Units (RCUs) are installed in moving vehicles—any vehicles that navigate the area to be monitored. RCUS are available with and without displays and require no local operation. They can monitor up to six networks simultaneously and communicate over a wireless link to a central server called the RMS server.
